Everyone in my friend's list was actually my friend lol. It was so personal. You could customize almost every aspect of your profile, put songs, playlists, YouTube videos, pictures, gifs, practically anything on there.

I also think it was just a better time. Biased coming from an American, sure. I was still a kid so nostalgia goggles play a part too. But in general, I think it was a better, simpler, more peaceful time in the United states.
