Over the years, there have been many attempts to re-make the Twilight Zone series, the latest being on CBS All Access, but none comes close to the original series that was hosted by Rod Serling in the late 50s and early 60s. The writing was second to none. It was one of the best science-fiction programs ever on television.
I was very disappointed by the latest reboot of the show on CBS All access. The new show is full of bad language and adult situations that were absent from the original, and the new show is totally politicized. Just because you are free to include R Rated material because you don't have to deal with the FCC doesn't mean that you should. The original show was family friendly, and did just fine, and the new Twilight Zone should follow that example.
Twilight Zone is one of my all time favorite shows, and I bought the entire series on DVD. I never get tired of it, and I wish there were more shows of that quality on today.
